I took this in 2014 in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. I kind of used the rule of thirds but ignored the jagged lines rule.
1/125 f/13 ISO 500 @400mm.

Blog Post: November 1, 2018 I only used to use Lightroom for editing night/low-light images because I believe its noise reduction function handles better than the one that Photoshop has. In this picture from 2017, just to play with different adjustments, I was able to make it pop a lot more than I feel like I would if I used PS. I used gradient tools and increased the dehaze and clarity functions. I played with colors and took down highlights around the sun. I believe that it now looks like it is able to generate some sales. I would be willing to sell this. I have found with Lightroom that I am able to do more for editing, rather than manipulation, of a photo.

Sep 11, 2018: Share 1 & Critique I took this near the antennas in Billings looking northwest at the thunderstorm last Thursday. I would have preferred it without the phone line in the upper corner. It is a stack of 32 images, each had the following settings: 30" f/6.3 ISO 100. Taken on a Nikon D600 with a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens.

Tuesday, we talked about the functions to establish a proper exposure, and in which situations we would prioritize which settings. This was taken in Grand Teton National Park besides the road. In the lower part of the frame is an elk with the Tetons above. Taken in the late afternoon, I was exposing for the elk. If I could take this again, I wish I had a narrower aperture selected, as this is more of a landscape than wildlife. I also would change the lens I used. I would have taken more time to play with different settings, perhaps bracketed. Settings: Nikon D600, Sigma 120-400 @120mm, 1/800, f/11, ISO 500
