Florida birds.

I am planning to go to southern Florida in December, which is perfect for bird photography. During the winter, wading birds migrate south to Florida. Florida also has some of the greatest densities of bald eagles in the Lower 48. An area that I am particularly fond of for photography is the Ten Thousand Islands along the Gulf coast. Everglades National Park and the Big Cypress National Preserve are two great locations and easily accessible to wading birds. They are also closer to Miami. Also on the Gulf side of the state is JN "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Reserve on Sanibel Island, which I have found a number of ospreys. Marco Island also has conservational plots of land in neighborhoods that have burrowing owls. Points along the Florida Birding Trail are also good points to photograph birds.
